Babergh District Council & Mid Suffolk District Council

1. The complainant requested information from Babergh & Mid Suffolk District Councils (“the Council”) relating to objections to the proposed diversion of a footpath, specifically the names of objectors. 2. The Council refused to provide the requested information, citing regulation 13 (personal information) of the EIR. 3. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council correctly applied regulation 13 to the withheld information so does not require any steps to be taken. First-tier Tribunal (General Regulatory Chamber) Information Rights appeal EA/2021/0330 under appeal.
