Metropolitan Police Service

The complainant has requested information about murders and attempted murders from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”). The MPS provided some information but withheld the remainder citing sections 40(2)(Personal information) and 30(1)(a) (Investigations and proceedings). The Commissioner’s decision is that section 30(1) is engaged and that the public interest favours maintaining the exemption. No steps are required.

FOI 30: Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: ic-91930
