Serious Fraud Office

In a multipart request, the complainant has requested information about individuals who are, or have been, under investigation by the Serious Fraud Office (‘SFO’). The SFO refused the request on the grounds that compliance would exceed the appropriate cost limit, under section 12 of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the SFO was entitled to rely on section 12(1) to refuse the request.

FOI 12: Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 214041
