Summary
The claimant (a company in liquidation) was the defendant in proceedings in the Patents County Court for infringement of the same patent. A counterclaim for revocation had been made as part of the defence in that action. The claimant requested a stay in the present proceedings, but the hearing officer decided that there could be no possible benefit in these proceedings continuing before the comptroller.
