Summary
The invention relates to system and method for economising the use of a dynamically allocated multi-core computer platform service by incentivising users to reduce the number of cores demanded by means of a billing algorithm which assesses billables for the service for a given user on successive billing assessment periods based on the amount of cores a given user has i) an entitlement for and ii) gets allocated to meet its demand.
The hearing officer found that the invention was excluded as a method of doing business implemented via a program for a computer as such and therefore refused the application.
