The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland, the Secretary of State for Wales and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 24(2) of the Agriculture Act 1986, hereby make the following order:-
1. This order may be cited as the Agriculture Act 1986 (Commencement No.3) Order 1986.
2. Section 8(2) of the Agriculture Act 1986 (which amends section 1(2) of the Agricultural Marketing Act 1983 to increase from fifteen to twenty-one the maximum permitted membership of Food from Britain) shall come into force on 8th September 1986.
In Witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is hereunto affixed on 2nd September 1986.

This order brings into force on 8th September 1986 section 8(2) of the Agriculture Act 1986 which amends section 1(2) of the Agricultural Marketing Act 1983 to increase the maximum permitted membership of the council known as Food from Britain from fifteen to twenty-one.
