The AIDS (Control) (Contents of Reports) Order 1988

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(5)(b) and (6) of the AIDS (Control) Act 1987(1) I hereby make the following Order:-

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the AIDS (Control) (Contents of Reports) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 26th February 1988.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the AIDS (Control) Act 1987 (contents of reports by Authorities and Boards) shall be amended by specifying, at the end, the following additional relevant information:-

"8. The number of positive results in the reporting period from blood samples taken for the purposes of HIV antibody tests by facilities or services provided by the Authority or Board".

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Schedule to the AIDS (Control) Act 1987 by specifying additional information to be contained in the reports made by a District Health Authority and a Health Board in pursuance of section 1(2) of the said Act. The additional information concerns the number of positive results obtained in the reporting period from blood samples tested for HIV antibodies.
