LICENSING (LIQUOR)

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 20(3) of the Licensing Act 1988(1), I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Licensing Act 1988 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1988.
2. The provisions of the Licensing Act 1988 specified in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 1st August 1988.

Section 2. | Extension of period for consumption of intoxicating liquor outside permitted hours. |
Section 4. | Abolition of renewals of extended hours orders. |
Section 6. | Exemption orders and special hours certificates: fees. |

Section 8. | Power to vary permitted hours in on-licensed vineyard premises. |

Section 19(2) so far as it relates to the repeals in sections 9(5), 71(3), 72(2), 73(1), 92(4) and 169 of the principal Act specified in Schedule 4. | Repeals. |

This Order brings into force on 1st August 1988 the provisions of the Licensing Act 1988 set out in the Schedule to the Order.
