The Lord Advocate, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 109(2) of the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987((1)), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987 (Commencement No.2) Order 1988.
2. The provisions of the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987 so far as not already in force shall come into force on 30th November 1988.

This Order brings into force on 30th November 1988 the provisions of the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987 not so far implemented.
Four sections of the Act are already in force. Section 109 came into force on 15th May 1987 which was the date of enactment. Sections 75, 76 and 97 were brought into force on 2nd November 1987 by the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987 (Commencement No.1) Order 1987 (S.I. 1987/1838).
