The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 72 and 108(1) of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Supply of Goods at Clinics etc.) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 11th April 1988.
2. In regulation 3 of the National Health Service (Supply of Goods at Clinics etc.) (Scotland) Regulations 1976((2)) for the reference to

These Regulations amend regulation 3 of the National Health Service (Supply of Goods at Clinics etc.) (Scotland) Regulations 1976 by substituting for the reference to the Welfare Food Order 1975 a reference to the Welfare Food Regulations 1988.
1978 c. 29; section 108(1) contains definitions of "prescribed" and "regulations" relevant to the exercise of the statutory powers under which these Regulations are made.
