The Park Road (East of Oak Lea Road to North Road) (Trunking) Order 1990

Coming into force

3rd August 1990

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980(1), and now vested in him(2), and of all other enabling powers:

1. The length of highway described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by a thick black line on the deposited plan shall become a trunk road as from the date on which this Order comes into force.

2. In this Order-

"the deposited plan"means the plan numbered NWRT.5049/80/1(1) marked "The Park Road (East of Oak Lea Road to North Road) (Trunking) Order 1990" signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.

3. This Order shall come into force on 3rd August 1990 and may be cited as the Park Road (East of Oak Lea Road to North Road) (Trunking) Order 1990.

SCHEDULELENGTH OF HIGHWAY TO BECOME A TRUNK ROAD

That length of highway known as Park Road and Walney Road from approximately 110 metres east of its junction with Oak Lea Road to its junction with North Road in Hindpool, Barrow-in-Furness.

UNITS OF LENGTH: 1 kilometre = 0.621 of a mile approximately

UNITS OF LENGTH: 1 metre = 1.094 yards approximately
