PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM

9th February 1990
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 27(3) of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989(1), I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1990.
2. The provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 so far as not already in force shall come into force on 5th March 1990 with the exception of the repeal by Schedule 9 to that Act of paragraph 9 of Schedule 7 to the Act.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 5th March 1990 the provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 so far as not already in force (ie paragraphs 10, 20 and 30 of Schedule 4 (enforcement in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland respectively of orders made in designated countries) and paragraph 34 of that Schedule (insolvency practitioners in the Islands and designated countries)) except the repeal by Schedule 9 to that Act of paragraph 9 of Schedule 7 to the Act which, by virtue of section 27(4), shall come into force on the coming into force of the Land Registration Act 1988 (c. 3)
