Section 104 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 provides for a charge to be prescribed for the release of an illegally parked vehicle from an immobilisation device affixed to it in accordance with the section. By virtue of the Vehicles (Charges for Release from Immobilisation Devices) Regulations 1991 (S.I. 1991/338) the prescribed charge is £32. These Regulations revoke the 1991 Regulations and prescribe a new charge of £38.
