The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State, being Ministers designated(1) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(2) in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Economic Community, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the said section 2(2) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:-�
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Common Agricultural Policy (Wine) (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 3rd April 1992.
2. For Schedule 3 of the Common Agricultural Policy (Wine) Regulations 1992(3) there shall be substituted the following Schedule:

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations substitute a new Schedule 3 to the Common Agricultural Policy (Wine) Regulations 1992 which provide for the enforcement of EEC Regulations concerned with the production and marketing of wine and wine related products. The new Schedule 3 includes the vine varieties Madeleine angevine and Siegerrebe in the list of vine varieties to be used for the production of table wine bearing the geographical designation of any part of the United Kingdom.
