The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 100A(4)(b) of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Free Zone (Birmingham Airport) (Substitution of Responsible Authority) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 24th September 1994.
2. The responsible authority for the area designated a free zone by article 2(1) of the Free Zone (Birmingham Airport) Designation Order 1991(2) shall, in substitution for The Prudential Assurance Company Limited who were appointed by article 3 of that Order, be Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited whose Registered Office is at 142 Holborn Bars, London EC1N 2NH.

This Order amends the Free Zone (Birmingham Airport) Designation Order 1991 by substituting Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited as the responsible authority in the place of The Prudential Assurance Company Limited who were appointed by the previous Order.
