The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by sections 60(3)(c), (e) and (h), 101 and 102 of and Schedule 13 to the Civil Aviation Act 1982(1), as extended to the Bailiwick of Jersey by the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Jersey) Order 1990(2), and section 35 of the Airports Act 1986(3), as extended to the Bailiwick of Jersey by the Airports Act 1986 (Jersey) Order 2000(4), is pleased by and with the advice of Her Privy Council to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Jersey) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 3rd January 2001.
2. The Schedule to the Air Navigation (Jersey) Order 2000(5) shall be amended as follows:
(a)by substituting for paragraph 28-
"28. For article 90 and its heading, substitute:
90. An aircraft shall not take off or land at any place in Jersey other than a Government aerodrome or an aerodrome licensed under this Order and in accordance with any condition subject to which the aerodrome may have been notified under article 91 or licensed under article 92 of this Order."";
(b)by omitting from the article substituted by paragraph 29, the words from "engaged" to the end.

This Order amends the Air Navigation (Jersey) Order 2000. The modifications contained in the Schedule to that Order are amended to reflect the requirement that all aircraft taking off from, or landing in, Jersey are required to do so at a licensed or Government aerodrome.
