The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 29(1) of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service to make this Order(3), and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 29(3) of Schedule 2 to the latter Act(4), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Grantham and District Hospital, the Lincoln and Louth and the Pilgrim Health National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 1st April 2000.
2.-(1) The Grantham and District Hospital National Health Service Trust established by the Grantham and District Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1994(5) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(2) The Lincoln and Louth National Health Service Trust established by the Lincoln Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993(6) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(3) The Pilgrim Health National Health Service Trust established by the Pilgrim Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993(7) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.

This Order dissolves on 1st April 2000:
the Grantham and District Hospital National Health Service Trust;
the Lincoln and Louth National Health Service Trust; and
the Pilgrim Health National Health Service Trust.
It should be read in conjunction with the United Lincolnshire Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 2000(8), which establishes a new NHS trust.
1977 c. 49, section 126(3) was amended by section 65(2) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) ("the 1990 Act") and by paragraph 57 of Schedule 1 to the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17) ("the 1995 Act").
1990 c. 19; see also paragraph 1 of Schedule 2. Section 5(1) was amended by paragraph 69 of Schedule 1 to the 1995 Act and by section 13 of the Health Act 1999 (c. 8).
