The Hackney Education Action Zone (Extension) Order 2002

  Made 7th November 2002 
  Laid before Parliament 8th November 2002 
  Coming into force 1st December 2002 

Whereas an application for the purpose of extending an Education Action Zone has been made to the Secretary of State with the consent of the governing bodies of every school participating therein.

     Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998[1] the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Hackney Education Action Zone (Extension) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st December 2002.

Interpretation
    
2. In this Order - 

The extension of the Hackney Education Action Zone
     3. The Hackney Education Action Zone is extended for a further period of two years beginning with 1st December 2002.
