The Primary Care Trusts (Establishment) (Amendment No.3) Order 2004

  Made 31st August 2004 
  Coming into force 1st October 2004 

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 16A(1), (2) and (3) and 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and application
     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the Primary Care Trusts (Establishment) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 1st October 2004.

    (2) This Order applies to England.

Amendment of Primary Care Trust Establishment Orders
     2. The Schedule (area of trust) to each of the Primary Care Trust Establishment Orders listed in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order shall be amended as specified in the corresponding entry in column 2.

PRIMARY CARE TRUST ESTABLISHMENT ORDERS TO BE AMENDED

Establishment Order and S.I. Number Amendment
Horsham and Chanctonbury Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/985)[2] For the entire entry for the district of Horsham District Council substitute - 

" In the district of Horsham District Council - 

the electoral wards of Billingshurst, Bramber and Upper Beeding, Broadbridge Heath, Chanctonbury, Denne, Forest, Henfield, Holbrook, Itchingfield and Shipley, Nuthurst, Pulborough, Riverside, Roffey North, Rudgwick, Rusper, Slinfold, Southwater, Steyning, Storrington, Sullington, Trafalgar, Warnham, West Chiltington, West Grinstead.".
The West Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2001(S.I. 2001/274)[3] After the entry for the district of North Kevesten add the entry - 

" In the unitary authority of North Lincolnshire - the civil parish of Hibaldstow within Ridge ward.".
The Western Sussex Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/987) Delete the entire entry for the district of Horsham District Council.



EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the areas of the Primary Care Trusts listed in the Schedule to reflect changes in the boundaries of those Primary Care Trusts.
