The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8B(5) of the Immigration Act 1971(1):
1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment No.5) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 26th May 2011.
2. In Part 2 of the Schedule to the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000(2) insert after "Council Decision 2011/273/CFSP of 9th May 2011 (Syria)", "as implemented by Council Implementing Decision 2011/302/CFSP of 23rd May 2011 (Syria)"(3).

This Order amends the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000 ("the 2000 Order") by adding to Part 2 of the Schedule to the 2000 Order European Union Council Implementing Decision 2011/302/CFSP of 23rd May 2011, made in response to the situation in Syria, which adds 10 further names to the list of individuals banned from travel by Council Decision 2011/273/CFSP of 9th May 2011.
