The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Prisoners (Disclosure of Information About Victims) Act 2020(1).
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Prisoners (Disclosure of Information About Victims) Act 2020 (Commencement) Regulations 2020.
2. Sections 1 and 2 of the Prisoners (Disclosure of Information About Victims) Act 2020 come into force on 4th January 2021.

These Regulations bring all the remaining uncommenced provisions of the Prisoners (Disclosure of Information About Victims) Act 2020 into force on 4 January 2021 (section 3 having come into force the day the Act was passed).
