The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Prisons (Substance Testing) Act 2021( 1).
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Prisons (Substance Testing) Act 2021 (Commencement) Regulations 2021.
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
2. The Prisons (Substance Testing) Act 2021 comes into force on the 8th December 2021.

These Regulations bring the Prisons (Substance Testing) Act 2021 into force on 8th December 2021.
