		I, Brian Cowen, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the European Communities and Swiss Confederation Act 2001 ( No. 41 of 2001 ), hereby order as follows: 1.      This Order may be cited as the European Communities and Swiss Confederation Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2002. 2.      The 1st day of June 2002 is appointed as the day on which the European Communities and Swiss Confederation Act 2001 ( No. 41 of 2001 ) comes into operation.
