Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 17 and Section 18) (Skibbereen) Order, 2003

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 17 and Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

 1.  This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 17 and Section 18) (Cork) Order, 2003.

 2.  The existing Registrars' Districts of Tullagh and Skibbereen shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Skibbereen.

 3.  This Order shall come into operation on the 25th day of September 2003.

Given under my hand at Oifig an Ard-Chláraitheora, Joyce House, Lombard Street East, Dublin 2, this 23rd day of September 2003.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the functional area of the Southern Health Board, so as to reduce the number of Districts in that area.
