shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
3.
The centre line of the main new trunk road and of each of the new slip roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
4.
The Secretary of State directs as respects any part of a highway which crosses the route of any of the new trunk roads that -
until, in either case, a date to be specified in a notice given by the Secretary of State to the highway authority for that highway. The date specified will not be later than the date on which the relevant route is opened for the purposes of through traffic.

In this Order -
(1) All measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
(2)

means the plan folio numbered HA 019/033/0114 marked "The A428 Trunk Road (Cambourne Development Trunk Road and Slips Roads) Order 2001", signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions and deposited at the Highways Agency, St Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE; |
(ii) "the Trunk Road" |
means the A428 Trunk Road, known locally asSt Neots Road; |
(iii) "the main new trunk road" and "the slip roads" |
have the meanings given in Article 2 of this Order; and |
(iv) "the new trunk roads" |
mean the highways mentioned in Article 2 of this Order. |
